From the maniacal brilliance of Piper Steed, Erik Hodson, and PixelTraitorcomes AR-13L: The Little Mercmaid—a blood-drenched, bullet-riddled reimagining of the Andersen classic, rewritten as a sweaty, glorious love letter to 80s action flicks.
RATED YA for YOUNG ADULTS. This book contains action, comedy, violence, mild nudity, and a shark with a cocaine problem.

Where's Cover D? Ahhh, noticed that, didja? D took a detour. Let’s just say it’s swimmin’ in more… exclusive waters. But don’t get your gills in a twist—A, B, C, E, and F are still packin’ enough heat to scald a sea witch.

Ready for more? Check out the insides!
Brace yourself for the opening salvo of AR-13L: The Little Mercmaid.
Enter Enrique—warlord, smuggler, style icon, and the most dangerous man in a silk shirt.
This isn’t some lovesick royal. This is a man who trades bullets for ballroom dances and leaves a trail of bodies in his wake. We don’t ease into the story—we plunge you straight into the depths, guns blazing and sharks feeding.

Add-ons!
What's a campaign without Add-ons, right? We have some pretty sweet ones!

Ever heard of Keshis? These are art toys that were cast from a hand-sculpted model by talented toy creator, Aric Hutfles. His work has graced numerous campaigns over the years. The toys will come in custom packaging similar to these:

The skateboard decks are here! Response to these was amazing last time we showed them off.

But probably the most popular and exciting add-on is the Black, White and Red newsprint ashcan. Featuring artwork from the book in its originally intended form (Black, white and red and on glorious newsprint!). Cover design pending.

Meet the Crew
Piper Steed – Writer / Co-Creator
A genre-bending storyteller with a taste for blood and poetry, Piper weaves grit, grief, and grotesque beauty into everything she touches. From underwater kingdoms to scorched wastelands, she brings voice and violence to Coral’s world—one razor-sharp line at a time. Her other works include writing and editorial credits on multiple indie projects such as Rift Riders, Hybrids: Sons of Gods, and Peregrine: Wings of the Falcon.
Erik Hodson – Art / Co-Creator
Erik is a powerhouse illustrator, character designer, and professional madman known for his work across comics, collectibles, and chaos. Creator of Cocaine Shark (yes, really), he brings kinetic energy and savage detail to every panel he draws. Other works include Rowdy Roddy Piper: The Kilted Avenger, American Bliss and the upcoming Daughter's Revenge: Vindicta!
BigBoyRobo – Colors
The Kato to Erik’s Green Hornet, BigBoyRobo is a hidden weapon in the team's arsenal. A rising force in the scene, his colors strike like a precision ambush—explosive when needed, restrained when it counts. You might not see him coming, but you’ll damn sure remember his work when it hits the page.
PixelTraitor – Creator / Design / Lettering
PixelTraitor is the corrupted data that crawled out of a 3.5" floppy disk and assembled Team Mercmaid to wreak havoc on the entertainment industry. Equal parts designer, creative director, and chaos technician, PXL is the architect behind AR-13L: The Little Mercmaid—responsible for branding, lettering, graphic design, campaign assets, and steering this ship of scallywags straight into legend.
Creative Integrity Statement
We stand in solidarity with our fellow creators and affirm the belief that human imagination is irreplaceable. While the initial spark for AR-13L: The Little Mercmaid began as a tongue-in-cheek meme built around an altered AI-generated image, the concept was created by PixelTraitor and quickly evolved into a fully original vision through the team's combined efforts. Every page of this book—its art, writing, design, and production—was handcrafted by human creators. No AI-generated visuals or writing were used in the final comic. Just vision, talent, and a team determined to make something unforgettable.
